Woods at Lion's Creek Homes Carmel Indiana from Pulte Homes

Pulte Homes has acquired a truly unique piece of property in West Carmel and will be unveiling a new community there in Spring 2012. The Woods at Lion Creek is the name of the community and it will be located off of West Road just north of 131st and very close to The Willows in Zionsville. It will be interesting to see what they come out with for pricing as this community is featuring home sites between 1 and 3 acres. This is a very cool site and one that I would have thought would have been more suited for a custom home builder versus Pulte. The key will be the pricing…if they price it too high, they will kill themselves because my guess is most people will prefer to build custom rather than go for the higher end production builder despite the nice

If you have not heard the latest drama for new homes in Indianapolis, Hansen and Horn is officially out of money. Rumors have been swirling for months now that they were not paying their subcontractors and problems home owners have been having but now it is official. You can read the Indy Star story here but the gist is they are out of money and going into receivership which means someone else is taking over and going to try to pay off their debts.

Update: It is official...CP Morgan is out of business and shutting its doors as of 2/27/2009.
If you are a customer under contract with CP Morgan and are considering purchasing a new house, please call me!! I know which builders are stable and which ones are not. Don't let this happen again, email me or call me anytime 317-733-3667.
Let me just start out by saying that this is pure rumor and speculation at this point, but word on the street is the CP Morgan could be shutting its doors. I have heard that a shutdown is eminent and could come quite quickly.
If CP Morgan does goes out of business, they will join several other builders in the market who have either left Indianapolis or simply been forced to shut their doors. In the past
